Top Kitchen Design Trends 2020
Kitchen design is a major component in living well and selling your home. Passionately, my eye is on design as a real estate broker, home renovator, and helping my clients design their homes to sell. This kitchen is by Matthew Quinn, designer of this beautiful, neutral, gourmet chefs kitchen.
Lately, I have been obsessed with remodeling my kitchen, with focus on the kitchen hood. Mid remodel, I came across this timeless kitchen. What really inspired me is the kitchen hood and our similar kitchen aesthetics. The touches of gold accents are currently in my kitchen as well. While, I have similar color tones with gray cabinets something about this kitchen speaks to me. The kitchen hood is an architectural element often used in high end homes and estates. It really makes a dramatic difference when you can incorporate some of these key features.
White calacatta marble is my absolute favorite kitchen surface. Just imagine how well chocolate making would be on this surface! Swirling chocolate and vanilla on a cold marble surface, happy little thoughts of delicious moments with friends and family.
One of the things, I like most about this kitchen is the light and airy feeling. The ceiling is beautifully covered in molding. The white shades with gold lining are nicely situated over the kitchen island. The swoon worthy calacatta marble countertops fill the kitchen with luxury. Imagine running your fingers along the cool marble surface, it’s soothing. The noteworthy gas stove and cooktop are top-of-the-line appliances. The refrigerator and freezer each have custom cabinetry overlaid. The farmhouse sink overlooking a picture window with brass/gold faucets intermingle elegance and comfort.
